The LCV chairperson Kaberamaido Mr. Ekesu Victor Rex has applauded the achievements of Alwa Foundation in awake to promote girl child education
Mr. Ekesu made the remarks during a recent visit made to the school to close a 3 day teachers’ workshop that was held to equip primary and secondary school teachers to prepare for the reopening of schools by the government
While meeting the teachers and students, he urged girls to close their legs and open their books because the future will only matter to those who value education
He also encouraged students especially girls who have been given opportunity for scholarships at Alwa Foundation in different fields of Tailoring and ICT to embrace the knowledge they are attaining for a better future
Alwa Foundation recently gave scholarships to over 70 students of which 55 girls were trained.
